Research Groups
Research groups formed to strengthen interdisciplinary knowledge production in the field of development studies constitute one of the core components of the Center’s academic activities.
These groups provide a common working ground for researchers from different disciplines such as economics, political science, sociology, public administration, international relations, urban and regional planning, environmental studies, education, technology policy and social policy. Through research groups, the economic, social, institutional, spatial and environmental dimensions of development processes are addressed in a multifaceted manner; an academic bridge is built between theoretical discussions and application-oriented analyses.
